Translation done on Alpnet's Translation Software, using SGML coding. Translated documentation, such as manuals, packaging, posters, quick reference cards and reference guides, etc. as well as strings and software. Subsequent review of desktop published hard copy. Set-up of dictionaries and terminology standard to Compaq. Use of GUI (MS standard translation terms) terminology.

Nokia Mobile Phones:

Traditional translation performed in MS Word and Excel. Translated documentation, such as manuals, packaging, quick and standard reference guides, as well as display screens used on phones. Established terminology standards, attended on-site workshops in Finland, Spain and Brazil. Workshops consisted of training in Nokia's conventions and functions of phones as well as translation of phone screens. Review of finished product, working closely with typesetter on manuals and with programmers on development of screens.
